Day Centres

Our smaller therapeutic Day Centre runs each week, providing a warm & safe space for some of the most vulnerable people in our city. Our sessions offer a range of opportunities to develop life-skills, encounter community and access therapeutic activities including arts & crafts, games, cookery & self-care.

Welcome Wednesdays

1pm - 3:30pm @ St George’s Church

All are welcome at our cafe-style safe space where folks can relax, have fun & access pastoral support. This is followed by a time where we gather as a group to sing, share and join together in recovery-focused Bible study & prayer.

Fridays @ The Shed

A new partnership for 2022 - The Horsforth Shed in north Leeds facilitates a weekly session for members of our Lighthouse community where they learn new handycraft skills through woodwork and furniture restoration projects.

Leadership Training

Lighthouse is committed to raising up and sending out leaders. Presently, 2 of our core pastoral team positions are ‘training pastor’ roles, with previous team members now training for ordained ministry within the Church of England. We are pleased to be working with Leeds School of Theology to deliver training and resources through our ‘Mission, Theology & Ministry for the Margins’ and ‘Justice, Peace & Reconciliation’ courses.

WOW! Course

A 6-week course to help our Lighthouse Community discover more about and journey deeper into the Christian faith. An opportunity to gather for food, fellowship, simple teaching and honest discussion.
